We’re excited to share the latest updates for our 11/11/2024 release of datacommons.org.

Data Updates

1. Added NCBI Gene dataset
   • NCBI Gene supplies gene-specific connections in the nexus of map, sequence, expression, structure, function, citation, and homology data.
2. Data refreshes
   • Refreshed multiple datasets including US Census PEP, UNData and US NOAA storm events.
3. Removed multiple datasets due to licensing ambiguity
   • Impact: Removed data for 33K variables, 23M timeseries, 3.3B datapoints.

New Features and Improvements

1. Improved typo recognition for autocomplete.
2. Accessibility updates to the website.
3. Improved handling for some biomed queries.
